WHO WE ARE
We are a team of volunteers committed to the education of others. "The Traveling Turkeys" is designed to teach anyone willing to learn about conservation, the outdoors, hunting, wild turkeys and sportsmanship. The best part is, this is a free program.
Please visit our biography page for a better history of our mission, as well as a tour of The Traveling Turkey experience.
WHAT WE DO
We bring the show to you. The Traveling Turkeys is a mobile educational experience about all six sub-species of wild turkey, aka a "World Slam". We've teamed up with great partners to share our knowledge about conservation and sportsmanship.

WHY WE DO IT
The Traveling Turkeys was created with a simple vision: teach all who want to learn about conservation, the outdoors, hunting, wild turkeys and sportsmanship through mobile outreach. We do this in memory of Gary Green under the newly established Gary Green Foundation.
DID YOU KNOW: The Osceola is the smallest wild turkey in the U.S., with the juvenile, known as a jake, weighing in at 15-20 pounds.

GRAFTON - A robust series of gobbles filled the morning air Saturday in eastern Ozaukee County. The rattling vocalizations were followed by some hen yelps, then a fly-down cackle. The sounds were enough to make the hair stand up on my neck.
SUPPORT THE CAUSE
The Traveling Turkeys is 100% volunteer-based and all proceeds directly benefit our program.
